Northbrook, a quiet North Shore suburb a half hour drive from Northwestern, has seen a dramatic increase in political tension after a resident built a “COVID Death Scoreboard” along Shermer Road. But when a Trump rally stood off against a liberal counter-protest next to the scoreboard on Friday, September 25th, the scoreboard seemed only to be an afterthought.
