An Evanston resident with a history of community engagement, Lori Keenan is one of three candidates running for Mayor of Evanston in the upcoming city elections. Reporter Olivia Lloyd spoke with Keenan on topics including reparations, affordable housing, the environment, the COVID-19 vaccine and policing. The interview was lightly edited for time and clarity.
